Payroll admin – Yeovil – Salary: £20k - £22k (2399)
Our client is a chartered Accountants who have a number of successful offices across the South West. They are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to be based from their Yeovil Office.
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the processing and administration of client payrolls over various frequencies within an allocated portfolio, including:
• Process payrolls and statutory deduction, to meet all specified deadlines
• Check source documentation prior to SAGE input and resolve queries
• Act as first point of contact for the outsourced managed service for allocated portfolio
• Process starters, leavers and leave of absence
• Process salary sacrifice deductions
• Process pension deductions and prepare pension templates for client and payroll provider submission
• Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports
• Process BACS net pay and pension deductions
• Ensure, payroll related documents and correspondence are filed in a timely and organised manner
• Processing RTI submissions
This position would suit an individual, who already has experience or knowledge of payroll, Tax and accountancy. Ideally you will be educated to A-level Standard and will be able to evidence strong organisation and technical skills. All duties require a timely and accurate delivery, so therefore someone who can confidently follow process and work to their own initiative is essential.
A competitive salary c£20k+ and benefits package is on offer. The position will be located in the one office, however my client is flexible on location between Yeovil and Burnham on Sea.
