Pensions Paraplanner – (2047)
My client, a leading IFA practice in the UK who offer holistic advice to private and corporate clients have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable Pensions Paraplanner to join their growing and well regarded team in the Bristol area.
Within this role, the Individual will be responsible for providing efficient professional and technical support to the financial planners in the office, undertaking analysis and review of transferring pension schemes, income drawdown and phased retirement plans, identifying outstanding pension information as required and ensuring all client information and facts are up to date for analysis review to be undertaken. As this position will see you liaising with advisers, pension scheme providers and clients, it is essential that you have exceptional communication skills.
You will be required to have at least 2 years’ Paraplanning experience, a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of Financial Services/Advice, especially, pensions and investments, to be fully Diploma qualified, with G60 and/or AF3 (or equivalent). You will need to have experience in assessing pension transfer advice (utilising TVAS reports as necessary) and assessing opt-out advice (resulting from LTA issues).
It is essential that you have a good attention to detail, strong work ethic and be accurate and numerate. You will be comfortable working to deadlines and using initiative when working alone or as part of a team. Experience and Knowledge in Microsoft office is essential and with your proven organisation skills, you will be able to multi task and have superb written and verbal communication skills.
