SSAS and Sipp firm upgrades website to improve service
Talbot and Muir has unveiled what it called "a suite of website upgrades" to aid advisers and to take account of the new pension changes.
Following demand from users, documents and forms for property have been placed in one dedicated section and a Q&A list based on all the technical queries received from advisers has also been included.

Claire Trott, head of pensions technical, said: "The investment we have made into our web and online services is further evidence that we are committed to providing exemplary service and support to advisers for the long-term.
"Advisers are under so much pressure to deliver to their clients in an efficient and cost effective way for all concerned. We constantly review how we partner with advisers and look for ways to help them through the administration of their clients Sipp and SSAS products."
The company said it had reviewed the need for online illustrations and believed advisers would be better served by these being completed in house and emailed to them.
The firm said these were guaranteed to be completed on the same day, provided the request was received before 4pm, although in most cases they get sent out the same day even if received later.
Ms Trott said: "Some providers may feel that not providing online illustrations is time consuming but having researched advisers and the complexity of some schemes that advisers deal with, we feel that we can better serve our advisers by completing these in house."
