Staff at a Sipps firm managed to skip for a whole day to raise over £2,000 for a Down's Syndrome charity.
With gift aid the total raised by Liberty Sipp was £2,537.51 – with funds going to
Twincess which aims to advance the education of the public on the subject of Down's Syndrome.
Throughout the day staff took it in turns to skip and also wore brightly coloured socks to raise awareness of a campaign by Down Syndrome International – which took place on the same day – March 21.
The fundraiser came about through the friendship of Liberty Sipp staff with the family behind the charity - Matthew and Jodi Parry.

Peter Garnett, Sipp administrator at Liberty Skipp, said: "The fundraiser and awareness day aimed to address some of the myths of Down Syndrome and in turn the negative image or taboo surrounding it.
"We had guest skippers – Michael Levy, Paul Jones from Mackenzie Financial Planning, along with a few friends and family of staff members.
"Michael has been leading with some of our staff through leadership training.
"He and his daughter Hannah came in to office to talk about how well she has dealt with Downs' Syndrome in a Q&A session."
An office cake sale, raising £125, added to the total funds.
