Rowanmoor to host property-focused adviser workshops
The New Insights workshops will offer advisers alternative pension planning opportunities and solutions for a diverse range of clients, with a property investment bias.
Working through a series of client scenarios, experts from Rowanmoor will demonstrate the flexibility and functionality of the Family Pension Trust and showcase the Defined Benefit Small Self-Administered Scheme (DB SSAS). Rowanmoor says that these schemes carry specific advantages over traditional Sipps and SSASs for commercial property investment, including increased flexibility and the option of borrowing to invest.
The practical and technical sessions will explain the structure of the schemes to give advisers ideas on how to utilise them to provide maximum benefit to a range of clients; from business owners, key employees and partnerships to family groups and groups of friends.

The seminars will take place across the country in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Ipswich, Leeds, Maidstone, Manchester, Southampton and London throughout May.
Ian Hammond, managing director, Rowanmoor, said: "As the UK's largest independent SSAS provider, we are fortunate enough to have a wealth of experience at our disposal. Our experts are always willing to share their practical ideas and knowledge of SSAS, Sipp or Family Pension Trust products.
"Financial advisers who attend these sessions will undoubtedly gain an accurate and deep understanding of the Family Pension Trust and range of SSAS options. We want to ensure advisers are fully-equipped to provide the best service possible to their clients."
