Malta pension scheme awaiting approval for QROPS status
QROPS (Qualifying recognised overseas pension schemes) are overseas pension schemes into which UK pension rights can be transferred.
The scheme has already been approved in Malta and is awaiting approval by HM Revenue and Customs in the UK.
Abacus Corporate Services has also recently been granted a Retirement Scheme Administrator licence by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
