Sipps firm Embark Group appoints several new senior executives
The business has been under a period of transition, from its origins as a full SIPP and SSAS administrator, to being a provider of digitally executed retirement services ranging from savings wrap through investment research to actuarial consulting.
The appointments include:
· David King will join as managing director of Rowanmoor, the firm’s specialist SIPP and SSAS business.
He takes over from Lucy Matthews who will retire in Autumn after 32 years’ service. Mr King joins from his most recent role as chief operating officer of Huntswood, having previously held senior executive roles at AXA Wealth and Winterthur.
· David Lowe has joined the company’s management team as group head of proposition & technical. He came from Zurich, where he was head of corporate propositions and pensions management director.
Prior to this Mr Lowe held senior roles at GE Life and National Mutual.
· James Cannon is set to join as regional sales manager in the North West with plans to expand distribution reach in the region.
He will join from from Talbot & Muir.
Prior to this Mr Cannon worked with Xafinity, AJ Bell and, in the early stages of his career, gained experience at Embark’s Rowanmoor subsidiary.
· Jane Dolan has been appointed head of transformation. Embark says she has “significant experience of market facing change leadership, which she has built with Bravura Solutions and DST, bringing significant strength to our change team.”
Phil Smith, chief executive of the Embark Group, said: “The two Davids, James and Jane are tremendous additions to our long-term talent base.
“Collectively they bring significant experience and competence to our fast growing portfolio of activities.
