Ex-Standard Life Sipp consultant gets expanded Yorsipp role
Stephen Gilligan has become business development manager for Northern Ireland.
He has been with Yorsipp since August 2014 but his role has been expanded. Prior to this he was at Hornbuckle Mitchell for four years following 10 years with Standard Life as a Sipp Consultant.
Yorsipp employs about 25 staff and has three business development managers.

Mark Canning, Yorsipp’s head of business development, said it continues to see advisers entering the Sipp market for the first time, or re-entering following the pension freedom changes.
Mr Canning said: "This appointment reaffirms our commitment to advisers in Northern Ireland. Stephen has been at the forefront of taking our innovative solutions to market over the last 18 months and, in addition to strong family ties, will be well known to many advisers in the province having previously covered the region in previous roles.
“As we see an increasing trend for larger firms to reduce their field based support, we believe by offering advisers the option of both localised support and remote ‘live chat’ support for such as technical enquiries we can assist advisers at a time and format which works for them and their clients."
Mr Gilligan said: "I am delighted to once again be responsible for the region and look forward to sharing our upcoming plans – including a range of exciting 10th anniversary offers."
