My client, a leading IFA practice in the UK who offer holistic advice to private and corporate clients have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable Commercial Accountant to join their growing and well regarded team in the Bristol area.
Main focus of this role is to report directly to and assist the Finance Director by bringing financial information to life and providing meaningful insight into the financial performance and direction of the business. You will be able to propose meaningful options, decisions and directions for the organisation and you will ensure that financial management reporting is highly accurate and the analysis you provide is suitably sourced, by engaging with internal and external providers.
Those suitable for this role will be a holder of ACA, ACCA or CIMA and will have experience of working as an Accountant in Financial Services, therefore you will have strong technical accounting and financial skills. As you will be dealing with a range of professionals and stakeholders, it is essential that you have the competence in communicating effectively and as you will be using Excel on a daily basis, proven skills in this area and the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy are essential.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to get closer to the financial decision making of a successful Financial Services organisation and will give you the opportunity to gain a wide knowledge around financial functions and to be highly influential in the direction and continuing success of the business.
