Adviser platform Transact has added the ability to open existing clients’ pension wrappers, such as personal pensions and SIPPs, online. In a raft of updates to its service, Transact has added the facility to give advisers better access to clients’ pensions. Advisers will be able to link and open clients' SIPPs in a few clicks, Transact says. Other enhancements to the service include: the ability to share illustrations among colleagues regular sweeps of clients’ income from a wrapper to a client’s bank account completing a proportional cash and investment transfer The firm says the enhancements should make life easier for users and add to functionality. Last month Integrafin, the parent company of adviser platform Transact, reported record funds under direction on the platform of £64.1bn. A record high number of advisers are registered on the platform, growing 5% year on year to around 8,000, up from 7,700. Transact has also made other recent changes to its offering. Earlier this month it linked with fintech provider Moneyinfo to offer a new approach to document delivery. In August Transact rolled out a new Family View tool which allows clients and planners to view multiple portfolios through one account and supports inter-generational planning.
